谷雨，顾名思义是播种降雨。对于以前靠天吃饭的农民来说，天降大雨是重之又重的事情。有了雨，地里才能生长出人们赖以生存的粮食，雨水适时，百谷丰收才有望。因此古人有云：雨生百谷之说。

谷雨时分老农在耕牛身后一阵扬鞭几声吆喝田地里顿有春耕的气氛
谷雨有雨百谷生老农把田地犁得平平整整小伙子挑起嫩绿的秧苗急匆匆地在田埂上飞奔
姑娘们左手握苗一簇簇右手飞快把秧苗分分出秧苗弯腰插边插边退竞前行
铁姑娘们你追我赶眨眼嫩绿的秧苗插入田间成了一道道风景秧苗在春风的吹拂下扬眉吐气 笑声似铃
这样的画面苦中有乐这样的生活是记忆中的青春这样的经历是当年知青生活的缩影不知如今的谷雨农村是否还有同样的场景
